This queue is something we are going to be dealing with for years (I would guess at least 2 or 3 more), and I need to know how EVGA is planning for that. The problem is I have seen 0 communication from them about these sorts of situations and their long-term plans for the Queue. I am just about as loyal an EVGA customer as one can be, I really really like them and I have had great interactions in the past. What happens to me then? Do I get forced to the back of the line for another model only to have the same thing happen? Do I get forced into a queue for a more expensive 3090, that I don't want or a less expensive 3070 which I also don't want? Do I slide into the queue for a more expensive 3080 at the front? Because we are already past my date and time on some of those cards.
Realistically, it seems super unlike they will get anywhere near my point in the queue before they discontinue the product entirely. I am a reasonable person, I understand there is a chip shortage, but I am seriously beginning to question wether these cards will ever be sold to me. We are still on -1 Launch day signups for the 3883 and +1 launch day for 3885. So it has been almost exactly a year since the launch of these cards. Oh well, not a huge deal but I didn't notice until a month later when I first check my notify.
So I signed up for the 10G-P5-3885-KL and the 10G-P5-3883-KR originally before launch, but I got screwed by EVGA and was not put on the list automatically like they said I would be.
